Inspiration

The Focke Wulf Wurger Black Watch is inspired by the variants that took on the Allied bombers. These fighter aircraft were heavily armoured and were equipped with heavier guns to hit the bombers hard. Known to the German as the ‘Sturmbock‘ (battering rams) these aircraft made an immediate impact. The first mission they flew resulted in the near annihilation of a bomber formation. However, they were slow to maneuver, cumbersome and vulnerable to the defending fighters. After significant early success, they lost their effectiveness once the Allies adjusted their tactics.  The aircraft was yet another variant of the ever evolving FW190 series aircraft.

Key Points

The Focke Wulf Wurger Black watch has a 42.5mm case with tapering brushed lugs and a chrome bezel. It is made from high grade stainless steel and is beautifully weighted, but not heavy or cumbersome. The Focke Wulf watch has a classic crown (controlling time and date), and two capped pushers (controlling the chronograph). The watch face is protected by K1 mineral crystal with sapphire coating for added strength, clarity and durability. The polished rear case plate is engraved with the Focke Wulf logo. The brushed buckle is inset with the Focke Wulf name.
